Iceland 2019
Last year, I took my second trip to Iceland with two of my best friends. We spent the better part of a week driving the ring road in what would be full on winter conditions. Compared to our trip before, where we saw little, to no snow, this was full on Icelandic weather.
After the trip, I purposefully wanted to take some time off before editing any images. This was to be a trial for me, to see if that time separation actually helped with the culling process. Unfortunately, I think all it did was lead to a sense of procrastination and something that I am sure to not repeat.
So, after a full year since that trip, I am finally almost finished with my Photo Story. I expect that within the week I will complete my edits and have a story up online. This trip was totally unlike anything I had experienced before. Iceland is magical in all its forms, but snow covered Iceland is something all together unique.
I look forward to returning in 2021 for my 3rd trip where I will seek out more ice caves, hopefully get to a hot spring and capture more of those magical Northern Lights.
