Geeking out on Leica Lens Tech

Yesterday I put up a video link for Hugh’s interview with Joel Meyerowitz. Today I want to share a more technical conversation/video that took place with Peter Karbe, head of Optics Development at Leica. Beyond geeking out on lens design, it was a fascinating look into the history of Leica and their development strategies. Yes, it is incredibly long, but in this day of ADD instant gratification, I simply sat down, drank two cups of coffee very slowly, ate breakfast, and watched and learned. Really some great stuff in this video.
